with the market bearing down hard on the cardinals probably b/c of their record vs bailey shouldn't there be less value in this line?

Are you ignoring the reds recent prowess at the plate and perhaps overlooking cinncy here?

good luck with your play on the opposite side lower medium

Not neccessarily. I think the market is not willing to back the Cards now that they have their division wrapped up. I think their past success against Bailey is being put to the side with the recent uptick on Bailiey's performance. The Reds have been playing well for quite some time. I have been backing them for a while now when the market was not willing to do so. I think they are jumping on the boat a little too late.

The market appears to be doing the same thing in this game as they did in the Cards game- deflating the Angels a lot now that they clinched. I am going to wait until the lineup cards come out, but the Angels will probably be in the upper medium to large range.

The Rangers seem flat and are no longer playing with that intangible that allowed them to keep close to Boston for so long. They look especially flat on the road (just look at last night). Feldman is also showing signs of regressing of late, has struggled against the Angels in the past, and his style is not a good match up against the Angels lineup. This will be the fifth time they get to see him this year as well. Kazmir has quitely been dominant since the break, especially since the chance of scenery. He would like to finish the season strong heading into the playoffs, has dominated the Rangers in the past, and shut them down a couple of weeks ago.

I'm gonna be on the Angels too so let's cash that ticket.
I was wondering what you thought about the PAdres tonight? Billingsley hasn't won a start in like forever and generally has gotten into a heap of shit everytime he pitches. Padres are hitting the ball well and actually pitching well also. You see value in the Padres tonight?

I am actually finding value on the Dodgers. They will more than likely be a large play for me. This is a huge game for Billingsley, as it is his last time to show he warrants a rotation spot in the playoffs. He is obviously not the same pitcher he was earlier this year, but I have no problem backing him when the market appears to be bearish on him. This is a good spot for him as well, as he can feed off his last game against the Nats, his past success against the Pads, the big park, and the Pads lack of patience that can diminish his high propensity to walk batters. Not big on the kid going out for the Pads. I think a good time to play against him is after he is coming off a good start and giving the market a false sense of security.

like both those late game thoughts....

i think that texas line is low - as the pub might be thinking the Angels clinched and will take the foot off the gas. My thought is the emotion will continue to drive this team and you are right about kazmir he has been a witch since the trade.

Thxs and good luck
