I have not been to Vegas yet. Booked my trip for the NCAA torment in March. For the 1st round of the torment. What time do you think I will have to be at the sports book to get a seat. Any input would be great. My bro and I are going.

Thanks for the Help.

A week in advance.... I guess it all depends on what book you are going to.

I live here but I have been going to Vegas during March madness for about 25 straight years now. Show up at 6:30 am at almost any Sportsbook in Las Vegas and you will find some seats available. Show up at 8 am and prepare to stand and watch the games. Also make your wagers the night before if possible as the lines are ridiculous from 7:30 am till tipofff at 9 am. It's the best time ever if you like action and excitement. If you prefer quiet and solitary...... stay in your room !

Not trying to pry into your business, but I know at the Mandalay, if you aren't laying $5K per game, you will need to fight with the rest of the knuckleheads to get a seat.

As dark star stated it is a great time.

One key piece of advice, if wager 2nd half lines and aren't wagering over the above stated amount, get in line, when they go to the Under 4 Media timeout. The reason is, you can let people in front of you, but it will be difficult to get wagers in, if you wait for the numbers to be posted.

Agree 100 % on your halftime advice ... Just common sense with the huge crowds. However I have never found a problem getting a seat at the Mirage if I arrive at 6 :30 am. Only need one guy to hold your seat for 4. However it doesn't hurt to leave your biggest, baddest Guy to hold your seat !:103631605 Randy Couture holds down the fort for me ! OK If Brock Lesnar happens along... I might be in trouble

Try it both ways.......Thursday morning get there at 6:30 AM....stay all day. Friday........stay in your room all day. Than decide which way you like to watch it best! I'm betting you like it down there with all the "basketball heads".........

ive gone to vegas for the last 2 march madness opening weeks and ill go again this year. To get bets in for sure, you want to be in line around 6-7 am. for the first session of games per day. Honestly bet at whatever book you like and then go watch the games else where. I personally like watching the games at Imperial Palace. Its stadium seating, alot younger crowd, the waitresses will bring you tons of drinks (no ticket exchange for drinks). They will bring you beers, wells, shots... whatever you want. its a fun atmosphere to drink at and watch the games.

Does the Hilton have the Elvis theater open during that time?

Yeah, but I'll bet they don't have whores just outside the door like the Elvis theater do they? I could be wrong here.

that elvis theater is a much better setup, but it is so crowded during march madness the hookers cant even get in. total sausage fest no females anywhere.
