Barman or anyone else around St Pete

Can you give me some restaurant suggestions to take a client. I will be down for a convention in November and wanted to see if you know any nice places. I was going to book Bern's today (love that place) but was second guessing that they would have to drive all the way back to St Pete after dinner. We are staying at the Vinoy.

Any help from anyone is appreciated.

Unfortunately, I've not gone to dinner in St Pete in several years save for sports bars and blues bar and grills.

I'm in north Clearwater, so about 25 miles into downtown StPete. As you know, there's enough going on up here and across the top of the Bay (Oldsmar/West Tampa) that we just don't get down except for Rays games.

It's a little more casual then Bern's, but I have a place down the street from there named Bungalow. Here is the website "bungalowtampa.com" for directions, pictures and the menu. If you do go to Bern's stop by after for a drink.

PETE N SHORTYS

PINELLAS PARK

(IOWA STATE TAVERN)

Highly recommend the Shroom Burger, the fried fish, and the shorty burgers.........and all the food there for that matter.

Tremendous beer specials and a very good happy hour.

My picture is on the wall directly to the right as you walk in(little league picture).

If your in the ST PETE area, this is a must stop in my opinion(and I'm not joking).
