Anyone is welcome to contribute, but please include your source(s) of information.

Many of us will likely be relying on the steady work product of http://goaliepost.com

If you're one of those, do the site owner a favor and give up the big $10 he asks for annual access.

Great thread idea! Now we can have one central place where all goalie information can be posted, instead of just in random threads.

For tonight, the following goalies are considered firm:

Theodore/Thomas
Price/Toskala
Nabokov

And the following goalies are considered likely at this time:

Anderson
Luongo/Kiprusoff

I know it's an extra step, but please include citation(s) for your posted goalies

example: goaliepost.com

or: Montreal sports radio show

or: Hometown newspaper blog, etc

Everything I post will be from Goalie Post. I will try to include that citation in the future. but at some point if I forget to do that, now you know. :103631605

will this be a sticky every day barman? or is it season long?

I'd like to keep this Stuck to top of NHL Forum index season-long. Might trim it every week or two.

ALSO would like people to note when listed Starting Goalies do NOT play....

That's not to winge on any Rx Poster who posts well-intentioned info..But rather to help us grade the Sources themselves.

Do you guys expect goaliepost.com to post his goaltender projections relatively early in the day?

Also, from what I remember, he would have different "Levels" of confidence of how likely a goalie was to start. Any difference this season?

Just want to know, if anyone knows, before I pony up the $10. Times are tough on Wall Street and I may need that $10.....then again, let's leave that for a different forum.

p.s.

He reads these posts here and got a little perturbed when I mentioned he threw me a freebie. Said about 10 guys followed asking for a freebie as well. If you sign up, mention my name if you get the opportunity. I'd feel better if he knew I helped throw some business his way.

BUSHAY, point him to lead part of this here thread and to this post

I think it is more than fair for ALL of us to get over to goaliepost.com and slide dude (Jeff?) ten bones in appreciation for his reliable, daily product

Yes, they get posted very early in the morning (well before I get up). They might even be posted around 12am EST, as in a little over 3 hours from now. I'm not completely sure as I am rarely up at that hour, but that is what is listed on the grid.

The levels of confidence are as follows:

90-99% - Firm or a strong prediction from reliable source(s)
75-89% - Likely, based on source(s)
51-74% - Probable, odds are better than the other goalie

All of the goalies predicted by Goalie Post today did actually start. So, the accuracy stands at 100% through Day One.

We should probably keep track of accuracy only for goalies that Goalie Post deems "Likely" or "Firm".
