It's really not that big a disruption, especially after you've won several times.

I can say that people that have won from my church are doing just fine.

Sure one of them only won $1,000,000 but he is still doing great. He bought a $50 scratch off ticket.

Then another person from our church won the actual lotto for $21 million. She is said to have given around $100,000 or so to the church and she is still married and seems real happy

the type of person that buys lotto tickets is usually one that doesnt know how to handle money in the first place (or why would they be spending money every week on such a negative expectation event).

Easy come, easy go.

Ah, not so fast my friend. I buy them at random and it's certainly not every week but I wouldn't consider myself a guy that's bad with money.

Everyone has that dream of hitting the big one.

I buy 2 lottery tickets for every big drawing. But I choose the same numbers each time. I have hit 4 numbers on 2 occassions, but of course am still way down.

The lady who won $21 million from the LOTTO picks the same 6 numbers every drawing for like 4 years she said. She only buys 1 ticket each time. And I have read from a few recent lotto winners in Texas that each of them play the same numbers each week and maybe they were not lying since it was proven that they did not win on a quick pick

EDITED out insults

PO, past few days you're moving back into your former habit of insulting other RxForum members.

Shake yourself, por favor....or go back on PostReview

There ya go....give it just a few minutes and suddenly we're once again More Similar than we are Different

SheBar and I for past couple years have bought $5 for the Pick6 Lotto either once or twice a week. About $400 a year.

Meanwhile, we've also put aside about $15,000 in same time frame for our 401K.

How ironic there's a The Lottery Changed My Life marathon on TLC.

Handling a big lottery win is something I'm sure we'd all like to take our chances with.

<article>20-years-old Jobie Boals-Watters claimed a co-worker bought him a winning lottery ticket worth $100,000, but, it turned out Boals-Watters bought the ticket himself.
The young man is now facing misdemeanor charges for underage gambling :ohno: since you must be 21 to buy a lottery ticket in Iowa. He might also have to give up his money.
The owner of the store he bought the ticket from says Boals-Watters showed a fake ID when he bought the winning ticket.
What do you think, should the underage gambler be charged and forced to give up his winnings?
