AL has better hitters & the pitcher not hitting makes a big difference.
NL used to be more of a speed and small ball game.......some of that remains, but it isnt like it once was.
BUT........when you arent hitting like the Dodgers, sometimes it just takes a couple of bunts, hit and runs, or stolen bases to jump start an offense.
