Question about Twitter

I'm not on Twitter. I've never been on Twitter. I never intend to get on Twitter. Yet, every day I get e-mails from Twitter telling me that people I've never heard of are now following me on Twitter. This is especially annoying, since I already know too many people who I wish I didn't.

Do you share an email account with your wife? Or other people who have you in their address book are trying to follow you. It could be an invitation to sign up.

i think you're on twitter, or someone used your email to sign up for twitter. And random people will want to follow you. They do for me. I usually just block them.

It's a bogus spam message

If you actually followed the links provided, you would end up somewhere else

or MAYBE at twitter after a couple of half second redirects which allow some sites to dump some adware or spyware into your system
