Best both sides 500$ apiece, cancel the one that is losing at half.

Hedge 250 on the 2nd half losing side.

Free money, with a chance for a scoop if there is a big lead at the half.

Bet both sides at Heritage? Would not advise this as they may boot you for taking advantage of this promo.

Was wondering the best way to play this also. Did the one last week and hedged back with Haw at half, ended up getting about $250 off the promo. Must be a better way?

I have some theories, but waiting for some EXPERT analysis from DOUG in particular.

This is what I'm gonna do:Bet the team I like, watch the first half very closely & then decide what to do.I was never much of a math guy-just common sense:toast:

I don't think this needs to get overly complicated.

How about:

If you like one side over the other, just bet it, if it is losing at halftime, cancel it, if it is winning keep it....and decide if you want to hedge any by betting the other side for H2.

If no opinion on the game, play one side anyway, maybe see which way Pinny leans, or just go with the dog.

If losing at HT, cancel it
If winning, bet $500 on the other side for H2, (since you had no opinion on the game), or do a partial hedge.

No mention of ML's not being allowed? Why not just take MTS ML at +230 or whatever?

why does the ML make it better ?

You might not be able to hedge at all that way.

I don't know that it does make it better.....It's all going to depend on what happens on the field obviously.

But if you have no opinion and this is truly a free shot....Meaning you don't even have to hedge it out if you don't want to.

I'd go $500 to win $1150.

Cancel it if MTS is not winning by at least 7.

Look at hedge/middle options if they are up 7 or more.

What if MTS gets a few lucky D/ST scores in the 1H and is up say 21-10 at the break. What kind of line would they hang on Troy in the 2H? -7.5 or so?

Let the ML bet stand and come back with $500 on Troy in the 2H and you are looking at one of 3 results, no?

PS...I suck at math as it relates to odds and also at predicting college football second half lines as they relate to original game line and what's taken place in the first half....I'm sure my post above is full of holes.

And even if it is not, I know the way I laid it out is not a very likely situation but isn't that the point of taking a shot?

By straight wagers I assume they mean no moneylines either...............

seems reasonable enough, but can you even take the ML ?

More than likely. They probably consider ML a prop.

Or they can fall back on "maximum wager amout" of $500 to mean $217 to win $500 in the event the ML wager is allowed.

Worth asking the question though.

How do you personaly apply the "Pinny lean".

Well Pinny has Troy -7 -115

CRIS has -7 -110

Pinny doesn't want Troy action, so If I had no opinion on this game, I'd take Troy -7 -110 at Heritage ( assuming that is also their line).

You need to pick a side in this game, for the max, if you have Heritage funded. Pinny lean should hit a bit over 50% long term.
