I believe that this would be the perfect fit for both.1st of all he would be out of the SEC where lets face it he really doesn't have a SERIOUS chance 2 win a championship yr. after yr. @ South Carolina. Then he would be back in the state of Florida in which I believe he's regretted leaving every since he found out that he couldn't win in the NFL. He would get better athletes from the state of Florida & start a real recruiting war with Florida & Miami. He could rebuild that program, DOMINATE the ACC & battle with Miami & Virginia Tech every yr. 4 the ACC title & BCS bowl bid. & just IMAGINE the rivalry that he could have with the Gators if they would schedule a non conference game with each other yr. after yr. because we all know that he won't win against Florida while he's @ South Carolina. 2 me it makes perfect sense but of course Bobby Bowden would never sign off on it but if I was the athletic director or part of the administration @ Florida St. I wouldn't wait 4 his approval I would do whats best 4 the future of the program & I would pursue Spurrier.

Isn't Jimbo Fisher in line to be the next coach once Bobby leaves?

The "Powers" Not Too Happy With

Fisher. Would like to get out of that commitment. "The Old Ball Coach" would be an intriguing choice.:think2:

Wrong. Why would they work on a 5 year deal with him?

Spurrier to FSU is ludacris. Never in million years. As much as i hated him when he was at UF, i love him now

STill dont ever see that happening

I think he's to old to start over rebuilding a program. He's got it made in SC, he can win 7 or 8 games a year and stay as long as he wants.....

interesting view..Don't think it will happen. I want some YOUNG GUNS. I am not sold on Fisher and hoped he would get canned this year as well but all the old guard needs to go..Mickey, Chuck, Trickett and get rid of the old Seminole alumn skill position coaches and start over. I think if Fisher gets control he will make the coaching moves. The real concern is whether he can coach is still up for debate (he hasn't done to well "coaching" the team the last few years. Wait and see..

He hasnt been "coaching" the last 2 years. As much as people wanted it to be Jimbo's tteam, it just wasnt. Bobby still controlled everything. Sure he was pathetic in pre game speeches, and knowing the names of players, it was fr from Jimbos team

As fr s the coaches go, the big hold up with Bobby leaving is that he wants Chcuk the Chest to take over D Coordinator after MIckey retires at the end of the season. Jimbo and Chuck dont get along and Jimbo does not want any part of him coaching

Rick Trickett should stick round, he is actually one bright spot on this coaching staff.

Yes i'm already aware that they have a replacement plan in place & I would honor that & give him a shot but it wouldn't be long term just a couple of yrs. maybe just 2 see what he can do as the head man in charge but after that if Spurrier wants to come the job would be HIS. The hire would fire up the fan base & it wouldn't take him long to turn things around @ Florida St.
