In the SEC Fla and Aub are known as "unkind" to other fans.....LSU ill admit doesnt have a stellar reputation as well.
Big rivals and heavy drinking bring out the worst in people everywhere...

Notre Dame and Dallas have more fans that have never been to their stadium than fans that have been to their stadium to see a game.

Just front-runners IMO.

When I went to Auburn (1985) the fans wore ties to the games and were very polite. Not sure about that one.

Florida fans can be tough (I am one of them).

Do you have any idea how expensive it is to go to a Cowboys game in person? Visiting a stadium does not a fan make. Unlike Islam, being a sports fan doesn't require a pilgrimmage.

I've said many times the worst fans I've ever run across are Ohio State fans. If you like to see little old ladies be cursed at and threatened, pay a visit outside the Horseshoe on a gameday. I realize every team has its fair share of bad apples that are an embarassment to the good people, but only at Ohio State have I found an atmosphere where it seems like the dangerous jerks are the rule and not the exception. It wouldn't surprise me at all if one of these days something really ugly happened there.

Stadium was an example, but really nothing more annoying than a 25 year old Yankee fan in the Florida thats never left this state.

One tiime in Raleigh North Carolina at a Clemson NC State Football Game, the NC State fans cut out tires after we had packed up the tailgate and headed into the stadium. Not saying all NC State fans are cowardless pricks, but this incident did leave a bitter taste about the Wolfpack.

Browns. A group of us Steeler fans went there a few years ago and as soon as we got out of the car, we immediately were yelled at (expected). But when we came back after the game, the car had the windows broken and all kinds of shit had been thrown into the car. They've also been known to tip over cars with Penn plates, etc and there are always fist fights. I guess I'd be mad too if my team was God awful and half the stadium was full of Steeler fans, but I wouldn't destroy others property.

By the way I'll be going to the Cleveland game again this year on Dec 10th, but I'll be sure to make my cousin take his car.

I've seen a NE Pats fan take the Dolphins hat off of a 10 year old boy(or so), spit on it and stomp all over it. And this was in Miami !!............and I'm happy no one mentioned Miami in this thread as no one did anything to him, didn't even yell at him. Judging by these posts, he would have been pretty near dead in some other cities.

Only Saints game i ever went to they played GB in the dome. Guy stood up with a GB jersey on cheering when they scored or sumthin...he stood up and a beer bottle came flying down and pegged him right in the head....
2 mins later about 6 huge guys in Saints jerseys were pulling the thrower out the stands and damn near rolling him down the aisle....Cops hardly had any thing left to beat on by the time they got to him....but im sure they found something.
Whole section was cheering....dumbass got wat he deserved.
