in the other stadium the wind direction was the direction of the bat's handle (remember the bat- weathervane) but im not sure if the flag direction tells the story in the new stadium.

Sorry guys, I wasn't able to answer the question about the wind before first pitch...spotty cell service.

It's a moot point now, but the wind is blowing to right ceter.

Jeter's homer was hit 3 rows and 4 seats to the left of me, bounced off the guy's head, and went back 5 more rows. If I can get a photo of the guy's welt on his head (he has a big red bump) I will post later.
