I don't think it's going to be that easy for the phils in this series as it looks and besides that I don't like anything about the bos-laa series and just might pass it up all together tonight.

This sums up pretty much what he said in the interview. Just seems to me hes looking for excuses in case he pitches like shit today as had in his last few day games.

LHP Cole Hamels feels the pain of all the Phillies fans who were unable to watch Game 1 — and will miss Game 2, too — because of the 2:37 p.m. start times. "I don't think it's fair. I definitely don't think it's fair for the fans because this is all about home-field advantage," said Hamels, the Phillies' Game 2 starter. "I understand TV ratings, but I think, at the end of the day, most players would rather play when they're both comfortable and that's kind of what we're trained at, either 1 o'clock or 7 o'clock. That's more fair for us than the TV ratings because I don't think we mind as much for TV ratings. We want to get ourselves to the World Series and win it, and that's all that matters. It's not how much money we can make in the process of playing this game because being a world champ, that's what we really live for."

I did not bet this BIG or anything and the more I read the more I might buy this back. Rockies really do suck vs LH pitchin. Guess it all depends on which Cole shows up today. At least the pen is healthy, all things startin to point Phils, think I jumped the gun. :think2:

Hamels will pitch well enough to qualify for the win today. I don't see the Lee performance of yesterday, but the Phillies bats will win the game in the end.

yea there will be a few homers today..the ball was kept in the park by the crazy winds yesterday....thats all settled now...phils lineup will ride this momentum into todays games and put some runs on the board....i think the best place to bet the rockies in this series is their frist game at home....i believe thats the onlly game they will win in this series as well

right up the blue route, Springfield:103631605

Hope he breaks this trend...........Hamels struggled mightily in his nine starts during the day, going 0-6 with a 5.44 ERA

Postseason time. Focused and locked in. People often say it's hard to just switch it on, but I think the kid get's it done.

Luckily for Hamels this Rockies line-up is very aggressive and likes to swing. When Hamels 1-0, opponents are batting .267. After 1-1, .268. After 2-0, .304. After 2-1, .338. So when Hamels is trying to catch in a count, that change-up stays above the knees to get a swing and the fastball usually goes belt high and a little out, letting hitters extend their arms. As long as he stays ahead, he'll be beastly today.
