I can do the suit, dress shirt, tie, black socks, BS !

I can't wear shoes that have me wanting a wheelchair, after 200 yards !

Never, again !

If you die, or get married ( same thing), and want Doug to attend, said ceremony....I'll buy a new pair of black Reeboks/Nikes, etc.

I'll never wear shoes that need polish EVER again !

Don't die, get married, or invite me anywhere that requires wearing footwear that is torture to wear, I'm done with that BULLSHIT, forever !

i have the same attitude about white dress shirts. my gut has gotten to be obscene. my mom remarried a few months back and i went out and bought the goddamn wardrobe -- the slacks, the belt, the shoes, the fucking shirt.....

come the big day, it was like.....goddamn, my gut sucks.

I don't think you bought the right shoes. Depending on the brand you can find some that are very comfy. Not like sneakers, but still very good.

my uncle lewis and uncle rubin went to the wedding after going fishing, so i didn't feel too bad for wearing black levis and a decent shirt a couple sizes larger than necessary

nah, they didn't need it, copenhagen mouthwash works wonders.....my mom's hubby's side though, they came from all over the place, wearing suits and ties and shit....only person on my ma's side who ended up getting all dressed up was my 13 year old brother, who kind of looked at us like "what the fuck guys.....must be nice"

Deerstags, about $60

Wore them to my own wedding in 2001, uncomfortable as Fuck

Wore them to a funeral about 2006, knew enough to bring sneakers along, to change ASAP.

Wore them Sat/day to wedding.

Every guy at wedding, and women say feet hurting them with damn shoes.

No more dress shoes for Doug, ever !

I ain't buying some $400 +Funeral/Wedding shoes, for use once every 5 years, sorry my attendance means more than my footwear....new black sneakers for me.

lots of pretty casual wear at this wedding, and by the 50+ crowd, not kids, but most dressed properly, I just want a ride on the shoes.

Dude with the NY sports stuff was way under-dressed, and like 55, Yankees hat in Church was pretty low.

There 2 many shoes out there under 60 bucks that are comfortable. I wear dress shoes everyday for work and never had a a pair hurt my feet.

Go buy some new shoes and make sure you walk around for a few minutes to make sure they are comfortable before you purchase.

.

Dockers makes a dress shoe with a sole that makes you feel like you are wearing Air Jordans
