What had you leaning to the Rockies?

Got the feeling after the broncos win the city is electric and rockies now feel more confident they can defeat the phillies and will come out on fire and win this game but phils take next game and game 5 in philly to advance.

Hope im wrong as im riding the phillies out. I feel their bats may come alive and take this series seriously now and put them to rest by going up big to where rockies cant top.

Im torn on these 2 picks.lol. Taking my gut since wager placed.

MY 2 cents is that Hammel fucking blows. He pitches good 1 out of every 5 games. Will this game be that 1 game, that has yet to be seen. I am a Phills fan so I will not let me heart tell me what to bet but if I had to pick a side or a total, I would say over 9. Happ is young very inexperienced along with Hammel who just flat out does not have very good stuff. I do think the inexpierence thing is a little overhyped at times because honestly the guy has pitched all year so is he really still a rookie? We shall see if I play anything over 9 will bethe play.

How does a guy who pitches 1 good one out of every 5 games end up going 10-8 with a 4.33 ERA. :think2:.

I know Hammels has a 3.2 K/BB ratio this year which is pretty f'in impressive, above Happ's 2.1. Hammels has other peripherals (such as HR/9) better than Happ as well. Happ's 2.93 ERA has been a complete fluke.

Ok hypocrite, you are arguing that because of Hammels numbers he is better than Happ but in your arguement you state that Happs numbers are a fluke??? Your opinion is that Happs season has been a fluke regardless of the numbers but that Hammels season has been "f'in impressive" because of his numbers. There are so many angles where you can aruge one is better than the other and you of coursed picked a few where Hammel has had better numbers than Happ. If you are a Phillies hater than be a Phillies hater, but Happs 2.93 ERA is pretty "f'in impressive" if you ask me.

No, I think they are very close. FanGraphs has Hammels FIP (Fielder Independent ERA) at 3.71 and Happ's at 4.33, so they think Hammels has pitched better this year.
