Flying to Vegas on the 16th.

Everybody in group went to same school, so we're going to get together on Saturday afternoon.

Best book for 7-8 people? Will it be difficult to get enough chairs/tables together? Kickoff is 3pm local time.

Would prefer a book on/near the Strip.

If you want to drink free, the Ballagio. Was there for Final Four in April, and of the half dozen books we went to, the Ballagio was the only one with free drinks.

the Palazzo just opened Lagasee's Stadium. Sounds pretty cool. I've never been but just read about it. You might want to check it out.

Went to Vegas for the first time on opening weekend.

No sportsbook compares to the Hilton. However getting seats for 7-8 people could be a concern unless you get there early.

Stay at one of the Hotels on the monorail and take it to the Hilton.

I was in Vegas last week and if your looking for 8 seats together at any book you better get there 3 hours before kickoff. I tried going to the Wynn Sportsbook about 2 hours prior to kickoff and every seat was taken. From there I walked to the Venetian and it was just as crowded. I ended up sitting at the bar just outside of the sportsbook at the venetian.

About 3 weeks ago I was at the Gold Coast for the weekend. Not the greatest sports book (and its off-strip) but Sat afernoon there were seats available. It wasn't anywhere near as jammed as the Rio or Palms across the street.

Palazzo is the place to be, finding 8 seats at any strip sports book will be your problem, get there super early like everyone has mentioned already.

kick off is 9am, you would have to get their before 6am and even then it would be hard to save that many seats

Our game is 3pm local.

Hoping that is no-man's land. After the early games, but before the night games? Maybe a few seats will open up.

Might try a few places on the Strip. If they're packed, we'll just do a bar. I know there is a BW3s, south on the Strip.

Thanks for the feedback.
