I am not sure what to make of the movement on this game.

Don Best sent out UConn QB Zach Frazer not expected to start and questionable to play. The line immediately moved from 12.5 to 10.5. We have the same info, but do not send out Critical Notices on backups.

The problem is Frazer is the backup. He started and played all of the first game of the year (11/24 2 TD, 3 Int) and started and played most of the second game (11/19 0 TD, 1 Int).

Cody Endres played part of the second game of the year and started every game since. He is 2-1 (3-0 ATS) as the starter and has thrown for 663 yards, 3 TD and no interceptions.

So why the movement on the game?

Info regarding Zach Frazier not starting should have no effect on the -12.5 point line.

STORRS, Conn. -Cody Endres will be the starting quarterback on Saturday when UConn plays host to Louisville, UConn head coach Randy Edsall announced Tuesday.

Endres, who has started each of the past three games for UConn, replaced Zach Frazer against North Carolina when Frazer sustained a knee injury. Frazer was cleared to play in the Huskies’ 24-21 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday, but Endres remained the starter.

Edsall spoke to both players Sunday and informed them of the decision.
Endres has completed 55 of 83 passes (66.3 percent) with 663 yards and three touchdowns this season through four games and three starts. Frazer, named the starter prior to the season, is 22-for-43 (51.2 percent) with 221 yards and two touchdowns.

In order for Endres to keep the job, he will need to demonstrate a greater willingness to get rid of the ball under pressure. Endres fumbled once against Pittsburgh and three times against Rhode Island on Sept. 28, though he has not thrown an interception. Frazer threw four through two games.

Endres fumbled three times against Rhode Island but UCONN won the game 52-10. Rhode Island, which came into the game with a turnover ratio of plus-7, stayed in the game early by forcing turnovers. UConn fumbled the ball seven times, losing three of them.

Endres, who started his second game in place of the injured Zach Frazer, completed nine of his first 10 passes, and 23 of 30 on the day. The sophomore threw his first career touchdown pass less than 2 minutes into the game, hitting Dixon out of the backfield for an 18-yard score.

I was hoping to get a 9.5, but the line never quite got there (whilst I was awake). My numbers like UConn even at the current spread, but will see what the line does.
