Question about yankee tradition.

Awhile back I saw the beginning of a Yankee game and the fans in the outfield section of right field would call out the yankee players names until they acknowleged them just wondered if they were keeping this tradition in the new stadium.

Yeah, that was one thing about the Yanks I always admired.

Derek Jeter! Clap- clap, clap-clap-clap! over and over until he smiles and waves at the attending fans.

I thought it was really neat. Hopefully they carried it over to the new stadium.

The bleachers are not what they used to be.
Just as the old Blue section in the Garden is no more.
