Seriously though, I cannot stand it when players watch the ball go out. It is very unsportsmanlike and batters who do that deserve to be thrown at his next at bat. Hit the ball and run the basepath. There is nothing better than seeing one of these assholes hit what they think is a homerun and watch the ball go all the way to the wall and then fall short....with the end result being a long single when it should have been at least a double. I've seen Manny do this before.
How many of those old baseball reels do you ever see Micky Mantle or Hank Aaron watch the ball go out? None, because those guys had class.
