Can anyone explain why he pulled Pedro? What a bad move. Made no sense for Manuel to pinch hit for him at that point. He was in total command of that game and was keeping the Dodgers in check. The entire season, we have been saying that the weak spot with the Phillies is the bullpen and he makes the choice to go there when Pedro is pitching an absolute gem? We lost that game b/c of that call.:think2:

Manuel was just following the script that Selig sent him. They were supposed to lose today. It'll be Yankees/Dodgers World Series.
What's the difference between MLB and WWE? At least WWE doesn't pretend.

Mad I didnt bet this. I had the Philies and would of won due to the +1.5 spread. Your right though, Pedro looked like he could of went into extra innings if he had to. Lee got LA in game 3 no doubt.

The Dodgers are going to trot out Kuroda and Wolf the next two games in Philly. Not exactly stellar starting pitching against a Phillies lineup that is explosive. You have to bank on Lee winning game 3 the way he has pitched, not sure who is going in game 4 for Philly, but if Philly won yesterday, they would've possibly swept LA. Philly still has the upper hand. You know Hamels will pitch again. The Phillies should do what the Yanks are doing with all the rest days, and just throw Hamels, Pedro, and Lee.

Hamels is too "delicate" to pitch without his full rest. He wouldn't do it last year, and I'd bet he won't this year. My guess for 4 is Blanton. Charlie likes Happ in the pen.

i agree 100% a 1st ballot hall of famer and one of the better money ballplayers is throwing a 2 hit shutout. pull him in the 8th for who, a ny met reject? this goes down as the biggest managerial blunder of the century. your bullpen sux, not bringing in phil hughes or joba.^<<^
