How many times can you flip a starting bankroll of $100 before you lose it all?

Anyone willing to try this out? I started with $20 on Thursday and by today I had it at $580.

I lost it all but flipped 5 times in total.

I took the Jets -7 to kill $500 of that. That live betting is pretty good stuff. Can't believe I thought Patriots -9.5 was too risky lol.

I took advantage of the 116 SIA promo and ran it to 1200 or so then cashed out 950 (still waiting for the courier to show up)

My best run was way back when in my degenerate days I deposited 35 via 900 pay (not sure if they even have this anymore) and ran it to 3300 during the NBA playoffs I cashed out most of it. That was when I first followed the RX. Felt loyal ever since. Really needed that dough for an apartment move first last all that stuff. I was dead broke at the time. Owed a guy 700 also (A guy you don't want to owe money to, is putting it mildly). So lucky and happy for that.

I remember one book back in the day having the free money promos. They didn't have restrictions back then like they do now. One guy took 40$ and ran it into 5 figures.

It's rare, but it can be done! I will conveniently not mention all the times I deposited 100 or 200 only to lose it in one shot that night. heh.

I realized starting out small and betting it all until you go big is the way to go. To me flat betting is way too difficult.

How did one guy go from $40 to 5 figures?

You mean they limit the amount you can bet? I know Sportsbook has let me make $1,000 bets but never tried anything higher than that.

Free money promos were all the rage about 5 years ago or so. Then they started restricting how much you can win. Now I am not sure if any books even offer these anymore.

The whole key is patience. You might throw caution to the wind at first, but once it becomes a respectable bal, RESPECT it.

I might do that. It's not hard to go into the thousands if you are patient with your picks. There's at least one easy game per day.

i go on nice runs from time to time.

'98 deposited 300 in millenium and turned it into 6850. then all week i was gunning for texas am +10. back then there was no limit at this book. went out friday night and got blasted and saturday morning instead of betting on AM i put 2 dimes each on georgia, kentucky and florida. needless to say all 3 lost.

06 deposited 1150 and ran it between 13-18 grand. my biggest winners were the dallas/san antonio series. had dallas maxed for series and won 4 separate games to boot. baseball also was doing well. was getting out 900-1200 every 2 weeks for 3 months til 1 morning i woke up and found out bos closed up shop due to US court injunction. lost over 14 grand.

08 turned 400 into 3700 then went all in preflop with kent st. over bc.

summer of 09 turned 100 into 6748. mainly ufc parlays and a string of some very lucky baseball bets on the cubbies and an all in on arizona. took out 2 grand before i collapsed again

foots not faring well this year so far but hopefully the bowl season brings some good cheer. inbetween all this lots of 100-300 deposits lost from the gitgo.

I recently turned $25 into $8k then pissed it all away making $1,000.

I was down to $2k and I was 100% that I would lose it all that day and I did.

I've learned that when you're stressed out from losing too much you gotta step back and take a break.

at poker stars I would depo $200 at a time and do the following :

Find an aggressive 2/4 NL game and try to double up quick.

Upon getting to $300/$400 - move to an aggressive 3/6 NL game and do the same.

Once I'd get to $700/$800, I'd gamble less and try to set traps

Following that strategy, I would sometimes lose the first $200 depo 2 or three times... but it seemed I would always make it back. Once I got into the 1k range I didn't have any particular pattern, but I'd play 3/6 mostly and 5/10 in short sessions. I managed to get to 5k more than once off $200 depos. usually took about 4 days to get there.

I think I want my money back!

Several times in the past I have tried out new sportsbooks by depositing the min. of 25 or 50 bucks and flipped that to 500.00+. Most times I will try to push that to 1K and it seems like I would always lose the bankroll before I would hit my target mark. But those runs are fun and pretty amazing when you look back on them.
