Abreu giving Holliday a run for his money if Angels lose tonight.

He was saved, but, even if he was, that didn't compare to Holliday. If Abreu had stayed his big ass on second, as he should have, yes, the Angels have the lead off guy on and are in good position to take the lead, but are they assured of doing so? Obviously not. If Holliday catches that fly ball, no wondering, no questions, the game is over, the Cards have gotten the split in Colorado and have all the momentum. Instead, he drops it and the series is virtually over. No comparison, IMO.

I agree to that...that's why I said he was giving him a run for the money. In other words people would look at that as the defining moment of the series if Angels were to lose that game and series. You have to admit if they lost yesterday...series is virtually over.

Who could say Holliday made a physical error whiel Abreu made a mental error. Yes, Holliday should catch that 99.99% of the time.
