Wine made me gain a lot of weight, but good luck.

no choice, Ill sweat it off, cant be much different than beer? No?

well I am enjoying some franzia fruity sanjia or w/e tonight and can see how it would be easy to drink a ton of calories, but you figure a 12 pack during the games on saturday are 12-1500 calories aswell.

Get the cheapest stuff and chug the shit out of it. That is the only way I drink wine.

Many wines have tons of sugar in them. If you are glucose intolerant I would check out some dry wines.

Beverages and More is currently having their 5 cent wine sale. On select choices you can buy 1 bottle and get the 2nd for 5 cents.

What do you think of boxed wine? Seemed good to me + more bang for the buck. Whats the difference

and to echo some others white wine has tons of sugars. I suggest red if you HAVE to go the wine route. I drink beer very rarely. An old saying works for me..once you go Crown you never go back down (to beer)..

That's to bad. I really feel for you.

For a beer drinker it was a shocker, but will make do. Heck, 3 glasses of wine knocked the edge off last night so it may be better

As for the crown and coke, yummy, but im a binge drinking weekendwarrior, During the football saturday afternoons, Im afraid i would put away to much of the crown so i stay away from whisky drinks.:toast:

the key is not to mix with anything. Pour a tumbler of crown add a splash of water and it will last an hour plus. Good liquor should never be mixed. If you want whiskey and coke just get some cheap shit Canadian Hunter or CC will work. Ketel, Goose, Crown etc all should be consumed on rocks with maybe only small splash of water or vermouth. I could line up 3 drinks of whiskey and coke and I would bet you could not pick out the Crown. Same with Vodka. 1 with Goose 2 with Smirnoff no chance you could pick it out. Waste of money to order top shelf and mix with Coke (for example). I always laughed when people did this. Save that extra money and take Green Bay -7...Just my 2 cents...

make sure red wine only......white has too much sugar........ventisquero wines are good.....cheaper cabs and merlots are 8-12 .they have a great one the grey merlot about 25 when you feel like stepping out.........i used to be diabetic myself i eat healthy( no white flour no sugar and no hydrogenated oils).......but i love my booze ive had as many as four bottle in a day of cab or merlot and my sugar got to 130........runs between 90-120 normally so not bad for a good day of drinking.......

Funny, I just made the switch to beer. I hate it, but have to have something when I go out to a bar. Had a bad Vodka problem and stopped cold turkey. I was close to a full gallon of Vodka a day before I stopped.
