laptops cause cancer??

I read in a medical journal that the heat(radiation) cause cause cancer.

Do you think this is a fact? I have my laptop with me many hours a day.

What makes a laptop more cancerous than an normal computer?

I HAVE heard that laptops can make you sterile, but that is strictly because of having high heat around your balls for an extended period of time. Not because of anything electrical.

Apparently it's because of powerful wireless connections that laptops use and desktops don't is the reason laptops are more ''dangerous''

Seriously man, all these gadgets like laptops, ipods and so on have been invented and we have yet to see what will be the effect long term of having so much radiation all around you all the time.

slimmee most people reading this and posting on the rx are sterile ... its mainly due to posting to much which means no women time for them :O(

Wireless connections in laptops are the same as in desktops... Also, if you're concerned about this I'd also be concerned with cordless phones, cell phones, microwaves, induction stovetops, RF and IR remote controls... Oh, and stay out of the sun. Really. Do it.

As was said, desktops have just as powerful radiation in them, if not MORE so because they typically contain more high-powered components.

Let's not forget standard radio waves that have been around since what, the 1930's? They are EVERYWHEREEEEEE.

Or the earths natural magnetic field. That shit will turn you inside out.
