I woke up after just a couple hours of sleep last night with what I thought was pain in my ear. My girl had an ear infection recently so I put some drops in it that she had and slept painfully. When I woke up, the sharpness of the pain seemed to faded but it hurts to talk, and my jaw is very, very sore. Right next to my ear, my jaw is very swollen and a constant dull pain. I ate breakfast ( couldnt chew really so I ate a can of pears) and i thought it was ok. I went to brush my teeth and realize my jaw is out of alignment.
My bottom jaw is shifted away from the swollen jaw. It looks goofy, and makes it hard to talk or do anything. Is this something I should worry about. I wasn't concerned at all until I looked in the mirror, and saw my jaw out of place. It feels like I took a baseball pat to the side of the face.
I don't have insurance so it would be out of pocket if I go to the Docs.
