Lotto 2nd chance

I have been hearing that your losing lotto tickets have a 2nd chance play, but I dont understand how this works. is it the scratchcards or the regular plays? does anyone know how this works

Yes you mail the tickets in and they go into some sort of pool. Once there is a certain amount in that pool they draw a winner. I know of a lady in a nearby town who won around a million. She won it years after she mailed it in. I believe it was scratch tickets.

here it's just certain scratch-offs that have a "ultimate second chance" logo on the backs, usually the $5 and up ones, actually mainly $10 ones it seems.

you have to go to the state lotto website and enter the code and ticket number and then they have drawing at certain dates for prizes.
