The Halos gonna give Burnett a tumor on the bases, steal 3 to 5 bases, score 5+ runs while Lackey holds the Yankees to just solo home runs by keeping them off the bases.

Angels win a close game, with Fuentes scaring the shit out of Angel backers.

Very hard to bet against NYY right now, but winning isn't easy y'know.

Lackey >>> Burnett.

GLTA

hopefully that lame umpiring crew favors the Halos today.

Yes, they will send it back to the Bronx but to face the Philadelphia Phillies. Cheers!

even if Lackey is good, i dont see AJ give more than 3 runs........there is no way 5+........Halos can only play small balls, I can see 5 hits and 5 base runners, but not 5 runs! ABSOLUTELY NOT!

AJ may now have to pitch game #1 of World Series. Pettitte will have to pitch on Saturday weather permitting, and the weather doesn't look good possibly making game 6 + 7 on Sunday, Monday instead of Saturday, Sunday. If Pettitte loses game 6, CC would have to clinch it on either Sunday or Monday. This is an awful scenario for Yanks they must end this series tonight with their offense as AJ didn't earn his pay.

Who would want Burnett for that kind of money and he just proved this year how inconsistent he is.

Trade him, are you kidding. Nobody will ever trade for his outrageous contract. They are stuck with him and CC until their contracts run out just like Giambi. They would of loved to get rid of Giambi years ago but nobody in their right mind was interested. Ditto for Pavano, but Pavano's contract was shorter then AJ's and CC's. AJ is their's for long time as is CC. Certainly CC is worth it this initial season, no doubt!

Yankees are ridiculous. They lock these guys for a ridiculous contract and then when they fail they are stuck with them. Serves them right.

Well, they do attempt to win every year as they monopolize MLB trying to sway all the career year wonders to jump on board. To their credit it does work occasionally i.e. CC this year. Pavano, Giambi, AJ (pending) are or most likely in AJ's case are busts. And this has not worked very well for them in many years as they've been watching the Series since 2003 and not won one since 2000. I'm sure after next season when Joe Mauer becomes a free agent they will go after him with aggression as Posada will prob run off into sunset.

I don't think the Halos are going to get 3 to 5 steals off of AJ, he's not going to be around long enough

my bad

AJ hasn't fooled any Angel tonight, but the Angels better score the next run in this game. The next run scored in this game is critical, as the Angels have to sustain the momentum from the first inning and prove that inning wasn't a fluke. If the Yanks score the next run, then they will once again be beaming with confidence and may just come back to wrap this up tonight. Not that the Yanks aren't beaming with confidence anyway even if they do somehow lose tonight I don't think there is any reason to believe that they will go back home with their heads down. They know they are the best but in baseball you do have to take care of business between the lines and sometimes that is a difficult task.

Believe me, I know this game is far from over. Besides the 4 runs, I like the fact that Lackey only threw 50 pitches through 4.

The Yanks can explode in any inning, and the Halos bullpen vs Yankee bats is not a match up I'm looking forward to "tonight".

Come on Angels, at least two more runs please.

these umps know when to step up to the plate and make a potentially game changing call I tell ya.

Posada 3-2, a backwards K puts him on first base.

Is the game too big for this crew?

clueless bastards
