Have you made? I ask because ive been on sportsbook for a week and reached the $1100 plateu. Yet my greedy ass risked half of it on Tulsa last night and chased last night losses today in the ALCS and got cranked. Keep in mind that this has been my first week (began last Thursday) and I started out with $50. I hit a big parlay on saturday and began my roll from there. But for those who have been doing this for a while now, how much have you made in a week, month, year, lifetime on betting sports?

i've made $675,780 by fading brandon lang this year, and i've made another 2,896,543 playing my own plays. asking how much someone else has made is pointless, as dollar amounts have different significance to everybody. i made $1200 last weekend, which for me is big. to the other guy it ain't shit. i started over on monday.

you won't ever get any good advice from a gambler when asking how much is enough. it will never be enough, unless you're losing, and at some point then it will be enough because you'll be broke.

figure out how much is prudent for you to risk during a given time frame, and find a plan to minimize your losses and maximize your wins, and know when to start over, even when you're ahead. ain't no dollar figure matters to no one but you. it's amazing how far $20 can go if you're serious about what you're doing.

and i'm a big fan of the RX. a lot of resources here if you care to take the time and utilize it.

Truth is that the $1100 that I made was alot to me! I have no job just going to college. I should have cashed out or played smarter. I guess everyone losses from time to time but what gets me is that I just started and was on a roll yet lost it all in 2 days. What took me 5 days to build got taken from me in 2 days. I feel like shit right now. Damn does every have a "Langs Fade Column in thier books?" Wonder how much hes made other people.

I started with only a few thousand, had several ups and downs, and made almost a couple million dollars over 5 yrs, spending about a 1/2 mil of it.

My biggest win was risking 50k to win 500k on the Red Sox at +1000 to beat NY when they were down 3-1. Spiros at the greek took this bet and actually paid me 500 dimes by neteller.

I regularly bet 10-100k+ a game. A couple sportsbooks told me I was the best sports bettor they had ever seen. Even pinnacle cut my limits to 10k.

I may be the best at picking winners in the world, but I am prolly the WORST money manager. Despite the ups and downs, I eventually resorted to the same mistakes and lost it all. Today I am left with only a few thousand again. But now being mature and married, I don't care about trying to win big..just make enough for a very comfortable living.

Flip side to all the emotions: I have never had to work a job.

He is a famous handicapper that had a movie made about him called "Two for the Money" starring AL Pacino, Matthew McConaughey, Rene Russo & Jeremy Piven.

Ever since this flick came out, everyone has had it in for him. LOL.

Love the movie. Brandon's picks? unh, Not so much.

don't think he really ever existed, at least as far as the movie's concerned. his superbowl record is legendary among the few who claim they can document it, but historically.....just a movie based LOOSELY on real life

it could be the greatest conspiracy of all time.....hollywood making a movie about a guy who goes on to collect millions from unsuspecting degenerates like you and me.....lang gets royalties from the movies, the production company gets royalties from the degenerates who visit his site.....

It's one of the few DVD's I own. I don't care what anyone says, it's the BIBLE movie of sports betting. I must have watched it 15 times.

"I HAD A LIFE! I was going to get married! But all the time you push me with your talk.
Oh, no words now so you shut up?! Who the F*** are you?!?!"

Oh, so epic.

i like the part where he's starting out and pacino's like "how'd you do?" and he holds the 6-0 sign upside down and pacino's like "whaaaaaat?"......nothing like being on a roll, the movie did a pretty good job of capturing the ups and downs

ah yes....just love the gratuitous titty scene right before pacino says "this is where you turn a hundred dollar bettor into a thousand dollar bettor before he knows what hit him."
