does anyone else seem to hit a brick wall after cashing out? when i played online poker, i always thought the bastards were stacking the deck against me after i cashed out, but it's hard to argue that point when the game's going on right in front of you

seems to happen when you are planning to cash out as well..set a mark u want to get to, and just as u get close, and think today is the day, bam, it goes south....

yeah, it's all psychological, at least for me. i go on a decent run and i'm admiring myself, and then i cash out, and then when i look at my bankroll after the cash out it's almost as though i feel like i'm down! and then i lose a couple games, and suddenly it's like "the hell with it, i'm pushing all in on this game, if it loses i'll just send back what i cashed out." no way a person can be successful with that mind set.

i'm going to take it as a personal challenge to work my way back up with what i have now instead of just doing the all in move. i'm almost hoping i lose the S.C. game and go 0-3 today and see if i can battle back.

Standard.. It's because people tend to cashout after a nice run, when they really are probably 20% worse cappers than that recent run indicated.. So they enjoy the variance, cash it out, then it evens out with a lil down swing thanks to the law of averages taking its course..

the law of averages is a bitch.....looking at 0-4 now, thought a reversal to the mean would be a little slower in coming....cut my bets in half with the first game today, didn't work. at 0-5 i'm done and gonna take a few days off. seems like i always do well after i've laid off for a bit
