That's how football is supposed to be played. If you didn't enjoy that, you are a moron.
After watching Florida, Alabama, and the rest the past couple weeks, there is no doubt in my mind that IOWA is right up there with them all.
Let's hear the haters!!! got one word for them all....^^:)

Off to enjoy the win....

the big 10 blows. It's too bad they won't have played anyone good out of conference. Penn state, mich, wisc, mich state....they all blow. They may well go undefeated. And they're still not among the top 5. I hope they get to face alabama, florida, texas...it won't be pretty.

Last time you nobodys were in this position. You ended up playing USC and Brad Banks has never been heard of since. Not sure if you want to take another beating like that again, once you step outside of that Conference

Winning the Big 10 this year is like the Cardinals winning the NL Central. Also the same as winning the tallest midget contest. Congrats.

If Iowa goes undefeated it is going to be really really hard to keep em out of the championship game.

Florida has gotten a couple of close calls now and hasn't be the old dominating team of late. They still have Georgia, @ South Carolina, Florida St, and if they get there the SEC championship game.

Alabama WILL LOSE 1 game before the SEC championship game. They have LSU, @ Miss St and @ Auburn. Really their passing offense is so bad it's tough to watch.

Texas is @ Oklahoma St next week and it would be interesting if all of a sudden Dez Bryant is reinstated for this week. Could be a rough road trip for a team that can't run the ball.

Iowa...if they run the table will have a table of wins on the road @ Penn St, @ Wisconsin, @ Ohio St, and Arizona.

I can't wait for this to blow up in the BCS in its face when there are about 4 unbeaten teams at the end of the year with a bunch of great 1 lose teams.

What Iowa's doing is very impressive, and they are a very fundamentally sound team.

That said, Ohio State will beat them in Columbus. Ohio State is no prize either. If they somehow do sneak into the National Championship game - They'd get absolutely crushed.

The USC offense did very little in the first half against Iowa and BOB SANDERS did not play in the 2nd half.............and if one has watched the COLTS at all in the past 4 years, one knows how important SANDERS is to a defense.

Terriffic win for the Hawks last evening and what was one of the hardest hitting games one will ever witness...............this Iowa defense is very good and let's hope safety Greenwood can return soon to the lineup...............the one TD MSU scored would probably not of happened with Greenwood in the game.

Every passing week the 35-3 thrashing of Iowa State(big 12) and 10 point win vs. Arizona(pac 10) are looking better and better on the Hawkeye resume.

By the way, in the Jeff Sagarin ratings(part of the BCS) just released, iOWA has earned the #1 ranking in the Elo Chess(part submittted to BCS)!!!

Let me be clear on my thoughts about Iowa's ranking.

I have no problem at all with ANY of the current undefeated teams being ranked ahead of Iowa AT THIS TIME, even though I could probably make a case for them being ranked ahead of all of them almost as easily.

I still have to respect BOISE STATE for the simple fact they defeated a very, very good OREGON team.

TCU just went into BYU and throttled them and may be the most underrated undefeated team remaining.........in fact, they are!

TEXAS, ALABAMA, and FLORIDA need no reasoning for obvious reasons, however at least two of these three are probably overrated.

CINCY win over USF not looking as good after the Bulls got runover by Pitt yesterday, but they have played great football all year long.

Two weeks from now we will know much more about the undefeated teams remaining and then we all will be able to make more accurate measurements of them all.

I don't have a problem where your ranked in any poll. I just think if you play someone outside of that Conference, thats legit you'll get killed. AZ win does look better.

Everyone also knows what Carroll does to teams in 2nd half. Iowa's offense wasn't going to score enough to win against USC, and Sanders didn't play offense

I agree.......USC was flat out and definetly the better team.

With everything being said, I hope you guys beat Ohio St., but I know your taking them one at a time. I was in same boat yesterday, just trying to get by our rival Washington, before thinking about USC

The NC game will be LSU/Bama/Florida (whichever wins the SECCG) against either texas/usc. i also caught word out of iowa that all their fans were getting sprianed knees and ankles from jumping on the bandwaggon, and they will probably reinjure their knees and ankles jumping off of it when ohio st beats em
