FWIW - My thoughts on The World Series...

I am not going to go into a long post about all kinds of reasons.

Three pitchers CC Sabathia, Andy Pettite and Mariano Rivera plus some heavy lumber in the Yankees lineup will vanquish a game Phillies team in 5 or at most 6 games..

The Yanks will prevail with relative ease...

Play on the Yanks to win the series for 3 units outright and 2 units each time Sabathia and Pettite start...Stay away from AJ Burnett.

you ain't a yankees fan are you? yankees better start hitting with RISP, kazmir turned in a dud in his start and the angels really choked in the 8th tonight.....i like the phils myself, but not by much....i'm looking forward to a great World Series

I am shocked that you would lay 2 units on CC when Lee has been the best pitcher in the post-season.

Sorry, but if NYY thinks they can strand 24 men a game against Philly and win their in deep trouble.

As for the Yankees pitching, giving up 9 hits to Philly won't limit them to 2 runs.

wil, i respect your perspective on sports, but i think you are wrong here.

where is the left handed pitching to stop the phillies?
will CC get dominated by the phills again and will he tire easily after pitching on such short rest (he could go 3 times or more (not a joke))?
will the phils lefties take advantage of the short porch at "THE NEW" yank stadium?

these are 3 BIG question marks for the yanks IMO.

CC the whale was beaten up by the phillikes last year? I need to look into that.

There were many that did not even think the phillies would get past Colorado, let alone make it back to the series. They are not getting much respect for defending champions. I have not seen a series price, but I will try the underdog defending champions. Phils have the experience of last year and lets face it, the Yanks have been chokers. I think they finally made it back to the series, but lose in seven game.

the angels won two only because they played great, not due to nyy weakness. arod , tex and cc get their world series. and the nyy are loaded with lefties
