Curious to know which of the two clubs has the better starting rotation heading into this best of seven series. After game one with Lee and Sabathia, I am up in the air on this topic.
Any of you MLB cappers care to shed your opinion on this subject?

I'd give the edge to the phillies with Lee, Pedro and Hamels pitching. I have a feeling Hamels will get it together this series.

The only pitcher that strikes any fear in the Yankees line up is CC, and he's prone to getting light up in the playoffs.

What's key here is that the Yankees bullpen is much superior to the Phillies bullpen, so if the Phillies are going to win this the starters will have to go a full 7 innings to give the batters a good lead, also so the bullpen can't botch things up

starting pitching edge goes to the yanks. no doubt.

lee vs. sabathia is a push.. if not an slight edge to sabathia.
pedro vs. burnett - yanks were burning pedro when he had a 98 mph fastball, now he's lucky to hit 90, and won't make it passed the 6th. burnett wins this one.
hamels vs. pettite - pettite has most wins in post season history. hamels has been crap. enough said.

and bullpen goes to ny hands down.

Edge is to NYY and I don't think it's close either. Pedro starting game 2? If this was 10 years then hell yeah, but unfortunately for the Phills it's not. I like the Yanks running away. Good luck with whatever ya'll play.
