YTD:
MLB: 52-37
NCAAF: 29-26
NFL: 18-14
NHL: 7-14
NBA: 1-0
----------------------
TOTAL: 107-90 (54.3%)
This series should be a lotta fun fellas. Two great offenses, good starting pitching on both sides, etc., etc. I think they finally got it right this year, as these are the best two teams in their respective leagues. I'm looking forward to a GREAT World Series! On to tonight's play:
PHILLIES/YANKEES OVER 7.5
I don't care who the starting pitchers are in Game One, when you have two offenses that are as prolific as these two, the total should not ever be this low. Take into account that neither bullpen has been great all season (Yanks' have been good, but not great other than Rivera, of course), and this total is just begging to get banged. Also take into account the hitter-friendliness of the two respective ballparks in this series, and we could potentially be looking at one of the greatest offensive World Series' of all-time! I'm really liking this total for tonight, as I was kind of shocked to see that it was so low. I know that Lee and Sabathia have both been outstanding this postseason, but the bats are hot right now, and I don't think either one of them fares too well tonight. I'm looking for a 5-4, 6-4 type of ballgame with the Yanks ultimately winning. BOL to all!!
