Hedge Question For Tonight's World Series Game - Need Your Help Please

We have a fellow poster who is sitting with a 7 team parlay of which he has already won the first 5 plays. The remaining 2 plays involve tonight's World Series Game 1. He has Philadelphia and Over 8. He would like to try and hedge. Does anyone have any thoughts on how he might do that? All comments appreciated.

Seems you'd have to bet:

NYY ML, and buy a half-run to play under 8 at 5Dimes, as seperate bets.

I see no other way.

Tough one... would be easier if the bet was with the Yanks

Depends on the Book. If they offer a Yankees + 1.5 RL ( but the Juice would be Big )
Then of course, the Under.

All this depends on what kind of money we are talking about., Otherwise....Let it ride !

He posted in my thread in the MLB Forum with no amount given. But I also find it difficult to find a way. I'm assuming a small amount wagered. Looking for any and all ideas. It's a good one to scratch you head and try to figure out isn't it?

I take this back. If these hedges split, you don't ensure a profit.

This guy need to do this ( I think) to ensure a profit.

3 two team parlays

Phil and under
NYY and over
NYY and under

the amounts risked would have to different to equalize the return. There is equity here, so there is a way to guarantee a return. I think this is the way.

I have the current 7 team parlay pending from games the last fw nights. Over in MNF with a few hockey totals n celtics last nite along with the phils n over 8 tonite. $60 to win 2g's plus! I like the 3 parlay idea. Still working on a few wagers. i have handicapped the total and riding with the over n maybe hedge with Yanks. Should be a fun nite here in Philly! thanks again for your help! much appreciated!!
