They are missing a supporting cast for LeBron hence why he is gone after this season.

Umm, I don't See anywhere in my Post..That it's the End of the World for the Cavs.

Just asking what's missing ? Didn't think they would start 0-2

I think Shaq is a bad fit, With him in the game this slows down there offence and I think he is average at best now, on defence now at his age. It will take sometime for them to get this worked out I think.

They will be fine- they are working 3 new players into the rotation and they are missing D West... NOW after 25 games if they are still playing like this you can say bye bye Lebron.

i said this in another thread

There are three main reasons the cavs have fallen flat so far, two are certainly fixable.

The first reason which is fixable is that Mike Brown has constantly had the wrong personnel out there at the wrong times.. That will happen with the new players on the team. Toronto is a very athletic and finesse based team, and when you have Shaq and Z out there at the same time it won't end well at all.

2nd reason which is also fixable is Mike Brown's game management, he does not call time outs well enough.. You will often see 11-0 type runs before Brown thinks about calling a time out. He has never been good with time management throughout the past few years, you often see CLE give up huge leads that they have. You see guys like Doc Rivers and Phil Jackson call timeouts after 5-0 runs, or when he sees a change in momentum, this is non-existant with Mike Brown

The 3rd reason is not fixable. John Cuester who is now with the Pistons is very missed in the offense, as Mike Brown is probably the worst offensive minded head coach out there. The Cavs are so stagnant and I don't expect this to change at all anytime soon.

I think they have a slight dropoff from last year, 50-53 wins and #3 in the east. And I wouldn't trust them enough to bet on them till I see improvement in these areas

well...boston is a pretty good team and then they lost on the road on a BTB'er...

as you said, not sure it's the end of the world...think it will just take a little longer for them to gel.

and yes, Shaq does slow them down...

I agree with this post

Watching them vs Boston the other night it appeared that LeBron was playing quasi-point guard about half the time.

They need to get West back and find the right balance for the minutes between Shaq and Zyg

They will win not by being "faster", but by being more even more suffocating on defense than they were last couple seasons.

Lots more competition in the East this year & Cavs will probably disappoint this year.

Gibson & Williams are average players, Varajeo has more heart than talent, Shaq just another year slower, etc. etc.....

they played two good teams

the C's with KG playing with a chip on their shoulder and at Toronto, an up and coming team with a superstar of their own

they'll be fine

I watched just about every game the last few years. The most glaring difference between this year and last, so far, is Delonte West. Of course, he's back playing now, but he's coming off the bench. Last year, before he got hurt, I thought he was the second-best player on the team that had that outstanding record. Anthony Parker has not shot well in the first 5 games, and it's just a different team with Delonte. A backcourt of Mo Williams and Anthony Parker is average. A backcourt of Mo Williams and West is one of the best around, imo. Another huge factor, I think, is that their OC left and is now coaching Detroit. Offense has never been Mike Brown's strongpoint. There still is a lot of talent on the team, and a long way to go. But the offense has to be a concern at this point. They play the Knicks tonight at MSG, so they should be able to score some points.
Me personally, I still think they are a good team, just not that powerhouse
we saw last year.
