This year it’s falling not on last Sunday of October. Instead Daylight Savings now falls on the first Sunday of November. This year the date is November 1, 2009 (2AM Eastern Sunday morning).
So before you dress up for Halloween, turn all your clocks and watches back an an hour - come sunrise, Daylight Savings for 2009 will be over.
Two years ago, Daylight Savings Time 2009 - Fall Back was switched from the last Sunday of October to the first Sunday of November.
The next time you change your clocks will be Sunday morning, March 14th 2010 - the second Sunday in March. That will be time to Spring Forward.
Most of you US and Canadien residents will get an extra hour of sleep tonight.
