I know a lot of people who are season ticket holders and one of my good friends who has tickets for tonight's game cant make it due to his kids being sick. He just gave me the tickets, and they are in the 100 level. Im not a huge fan of going to live sporting events. Never have been and never will be, but this is an opportunity I cant pass up. If Wilheim can come up with a quick $40,000 I will gladly run on the field with a therxforum.com flag during an A-Roid at bat.
Alright everyone im out of here. Everyone enjoy the game. Hopefully the Phillies win, but I am not confident at all. Either way I won't be back on to post until tomorrow. I'll most likely be on an all night load. So if the Yankees win BAS gives me the avatar of his choice starting tomorrow.
Thoughts on Game 5 and other shit:
1) The atmosphere was obviously incredible.
2) AJ Burnett's performance further proves my point on 95% of MLB pitchers who are not capable of throwing on three days rest.
3) When Burnett hit Victorino my first thought was, well Yankees your about three games late.
4) When the opposing teams hits a player especially when it puts a runner on 1st and 2nd base you have to make him pay and Chase Utley did.
5) In between innings when the Yankees were about to take the field, on the big screen they played the steroid drug free America commercial with the statue falling apart. The one that says steroids dont make athletes or something like that. That got the crowd going nuts every time they played it. I found it very funny.
6) Chase Utley is on fire.
7) I need to see a replay of Gardner's catch in center because in person when the ball hit the bat I didn't think he had a chance. I am well aware of his speed, but holy shit he is fast.
8) Pettitte on 3 days rest is -195 in Game 6........ That is a tad overpriced IMO.
9) Watching the World Series at home gets annoying at times with the commercials. At the stadium its not to bad because it gives you that extra beer time before the 7th inning.
