If your were a smart manager you would pull lee out right now and save him for game 7 if there is one.....if yanks comeback so be it but that is the right move get him out and bring in happ since your never going to give your best pitcher all season the start. But then again these manager have no clue. They have never had to coach

No way do you go away from Lee this early. Yanks lineup against Phillies pen could put up 4-5 runs fast.

Gotta win in Philly and worry about game 6 after.

ur telling me happ with a 2.94 era on the season who pitched against the yanks and gave up 2 runs and was your best pitcher all season would come in and give up 5 runs..leaving lee in is stupid and not starting happ game 3 or 4 was stupid...must be nice to never have to coach and make all that money:ohno:

unless a pitcher throw around 60 or more pitches there arm will not bleed or tear down...once they throw over 60 or 70 does not matter how many they throw....u take lee out after 3 it is just like a workout and he is ready to go game 7

Seriously...if he took out Lee now and the Yanks came back to win this game he would probably lose his job or his life at the hands of Philly fans. At this point his goal is to go with whoever gives him the best chance to keep the series going tonight. He can't worry about a game 7??? Yanks back in NY for game 6 is no walk in the park.

I totally agree and was thinking the same thing. To have any chance at all, they need Lee to possibly pitch game 7. Pulling him right now is your only hope.

That is why the good managers could care less what others think and do what they think is best. He would be the king of the world if they pull him now, and he comes back to win game 7.

Charlie wouldn't use him on 3 days rest, I doubt he'd use him on 2. He pitched 76 pitches through 5.

But more importantly, I bet the Phillies tonight, he better not pull C Lee
