Stop Dreaming.....We all know it's the Other way around...
Anyway....I'm not a big fan of Mexico
We go to the Caribbean every year.....So I couldn't help you.
But I've heard fro friends, that Cabos is nice.
We have been European travelers
Where do you recommend for like a week in the Caribbean for first timers??
Thx
take the Bucaneer Queen cruise. They have dinner and snorkel cruises. i did both, great fun. I don't have a problem driving in Mexico, but would stay away from highway to La Paz. To narrow of lanes, very dangerous, drive up the coast towards San Jose is ok and scenic
look out this is not sports related and barman is going to dump it in the rubber room!
Anyways Cabo is great. If you play golf make sure to play the Nichalus course. They have two 9's The Desert and The Ocean). One side is played on one side of a mountain (desert) the other is overlooking the ocean. Spectacular. Make sure to cab into town and go to Cabo Wabo..cool place. Other than that weather will be perfect and you just relax. enjoy

cabo is great, i visit every year. here is a quick rundown
in the airport, after you push the big button that will tell you if your bags are going to be searched (this button is huge and comical. like being on a game show. that is why i mention it) dont talk to ANYONE. every single one of these liars will say they are from your hotel, or know your travel rep. this is BULLSHIT. all of them are nothing more than timeshare reps. walk immediately to the star trek looking doors and they will lead outside. once outside, enjoy a cocktail at the bar then look for your rep or hop in a cab. (pay no more than $30)
caliente has slot machines (yawn) but the sportsbook is actually pretty nice. it is located inside the mall and relatively safe
there is a ton of stuff to do, and no need to go in to detail, its all easy to find an easily accessible. they even have a ruths chris if you want to have a nice anniversary dinner
sammy hagars bar is nice, especially to watch games but is overpriced. there are two places directly outside of this that are awesome. the horseshoe bar 50 feet off the front door of cabo wabo is cheap and the bartenders are cool. directly next to that is a place that makes the best fajitas i have ever tasted. you cant miss it. also dont forget to check out the giggling marlin about 830-9pm. thats a good time
have fun
