He's currently 9th on all time INT list with 61. With his 3 pick 6s this year, i think he's up to 11 pick 6 in his career. He hawking the ball at an extreme rate this year and might put up his all time season high, which would move him up to top 5 or so. With a couple more seasons, he could get by Rod Woodson for #3 all time. So, is he a HOFer?

the 13-year veteran is sprinting closer and closer to Woodson's career marks for interception return yardage (Woodson 1,483, Sharper 1,353) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (Woodson 12, Sharper 11).

He is getting there, would have said no a year or two ago. Really tough to make HOF at postions like safety without being the best or at least within the top three in your career span.

Absolutely. He is a quality individual. Met him when he was in GB and took the time to talk with my boy for about 5 minutes. My sons favorite football player.

Had a great hit last night.

Saints S Sharper breaks record for interception return yards in a single season

NEW ORLEANS — Darren Sharper has set an NFL record for most interception return yards in a season.
The Saints safety set the mark of 376 yards with his ninth interception of the season on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Josh Freeman.
With his 21-yard return, Sharper broke the mark of 358 yards set by Baltimore's Ed Reed in 2004.
Sharper entered the season as the NFL's active leader in interceptions. He now has 63, tying him for sixth all-time with Hall of Fame safety Ronnie Lott.
Sharper said earlier this season Lott was one of the players he admired most, and he would consider it one of the great accomplishments of his career to pass Lott on the interceptions list.
