Has Ryan Howard EVER hit a home run when his team was not on either end of a blowout ? All BS aside seriously I think its got to be close to 90% this guy whiffs badly with runners in scoring position in a close game. Pathetic swing tonight late in the game BTW, just pathetic.

Every pitcher and manager in the NL should have learned a lesson from Nyy on how to pitch to Howard this guy would strikeout 300 times a year if they do just like they did....off speed, change ups, sliders, curves and if a fastball make it inside. There would be no more 40-50 hrs for him maybe not even 20 but because the NL pitching is such a joke they won't know any better.

you obviously have no knowledge of the game what so ever. look what he did leading up to the world series. this guy is one of the most dangerous hitters in the game, and has had one of the most productive 3-year spans in the modern day game. don't confuse a slump with successful pitching strategy.

Ahhh....leading up to the world series he faced NL pitching....dork. Who doesn't know anything about the game? Did you watch the same series I did? Record 13 strikeouts....he showed his weakness for the last 3 years and NYY was the only team that gave him a STEADY DIET of off speed pitches, early, ahead or behind in the count so WTF are you talking about????

Yeah those 200 strikeouts a year are included in the "he's done everything numbers" you are too stupid to even realize what I said a few days back....if more pitchers pitch him like nyy did he would have alot more strikeouts.....but an idiot like you has to have everything explained to you because if YOU knew anything about baseball you would see that he is HORRIBLE AGAINST OFFSPEED PITCHES.

CC and Burnett, in terms of stuff, are easily in the top 10 of pitchers.

Howard had a great season and a very productive post season until the WS. I can't knock the man.
