0-1 last week, not like I expect to win one of these but......

8.5 point pleaser teams I'm looking at in order of preference.

Packers -19
Falcons -20
Pats -20.5
Seahawks -20
49ers -12.5
Cardinals -6
Eagles -11
Ravens -9.5
Jags -16
Chargers -4
Texans +1.5

An overachieving Week 8 saw 11 out of 13 ATS winners cover by 8.5 points or more.

I think its tough to bet a team that is -20 on any nfl game, doesnt happen too often

One I would play is

Panthers +6... Can see a letdown game for the Saints after their big monday night win, they had a tough time stopping turner and will have an even tougher time stopping Deangelo, esp with their main run stopper ellis out

Cards-6... The bears offense is abysmal, I can see the Cards bouncing back after an awful game against Carolina

Miami +3.5... Miami always plays NE very well and don't see this changing much this week

also like the chargers at -4, as the Giants have just been awful the past few weeks

can see any of these happening this week

There are usually 4-6 games each week where a team wins by 20+ points. And anywhere from 5-10 games per week where a team wins by 8.5 pts ATS or more. Split down the middle whether it's a dog or favorite so I don't lean one way or the other when it comes to choosing a game.

I like the Cards for sure but Miami has no shot of getting the game under double digits.
Chargers/Giants game is interesting but I'm worried the G-men will wake up eventually and the Chargers are just the team that could let them do it. Thanks for the input.

Cards are a must at this point. I'm shying away from the Falcons since the Redskins haven't been blown out at this point and I don't think the Skins have a chance in hell of keeping it within a couple points.
