1-3 last week. 20-13 overall, still right on the magical 60% mark. I still fully expect to be sitting at 50% by the end of the season. My gambling career reminds me of that one Seinfeld episode where no matter what he did, he always broke even. Most people might say 50% is better than 49%, because at least I am not losing money, but that is just not good enough. I would trade profit for a winning record, which might make me a reatrd, but being good at something trumps cash in my scenario. Plus if I got really good at capping, profit would be an added side affect anyway. Enough philosophy, on to the picks.

AZ +3 --These teams are evenly matched in my mind, and that is somewhat supported by the numbers. In terms of pts against, they are only 1 apart, and on the for side, they are an extremely narrow .3 apart. Pure math indicates damn near a tie game. So, we need to look elsewhere, and I think the deciding factor comes with personnel. Chicago is lacking, and the Redbirds are not. Sure, Warner can be inconsistent, but I'll take his inconsistence over Cutler any day. Instead of a 'Who's Who', the Bears roster reads more like a 'Who's That?'. I've said it before and I'll continue to say it until they can prove otherwise... The Bears are who we thought they were. Arizona will not let them off the hook.

NE -10.5 --Anyone that consistently reads my dumb posts knows how much I hate Tom Brady, and it saddens me to admit it, but the Pats are seemingly getting back to old form. They are up to 28.3 pts avg per game. The Phins avg 25.1, but the difference comes in at D. The Pats only allow 14 pts avg, where the fish are giving up 25.9. That is a huge. Blah blah blah, division game, blah blah blah facing a currently 7-0 Ponies next week. Whatever, who cares. NE 30 - Mia 17. Tom Brady still has jaundice. Frozen fish anyone?

MIA @ NE >46.5 --I just predicted a 30-17 NE victory, so this is self explanatory, but I'd like to add that I think I am being conservative with that prediction. I think NE will get more than 30, and I think that MIA might get more than 17. Even if they don't, I still win. And Tom Brady still has jaundice. TWINNY!!! TWINNY!!!

SD @ NYG >47.5 --I have to assume that this low over is based on the G-man's recent skid into mediocrity, but the last time I checked, the bolts were still hanging 26.4 and the gents were hanging 26.5, while both their defences were giving up low 20s, which puts both team in the bottom 33% of the league. I do not believe in the must win, so I won't put that kinda pressure on the Giants. Besides, the Cowboys or the Eagles will still be in first place after this weekend anyway, so the Giants have to do more than a must win to save their season at this point. With the over, I don't have to care who wins.

Boom, see ya at 4-0 baby, winner winner chicken dinner.
