With the Breeders Cup today I figure I'd go on you tube and just check out some older races to get in the mood. Eventually ended up on the 2004 Kentucky Derby and Smarty Jones. What a great story. Then watched the Preakness and the story get that much better.
Then the Belmont, man he couldn't have lost that race in a more heartbreaking fashion. It's just brutal to get so inspired by the first two races to have such a devestating finish in the last race.
