My worst beat ever !

I'm 68 years young and I can't remember a loss like I just survived ! I had a 4 team parlay in which I had already easily won the first 3 wagers. I had Lions + 11 and they were trailing by 5 points and had the ball at midfield with about 30 seconds left in the game. My sister in Law who is from
Seattle and loves the Seahawks just came into the room to inquire about how her Seahawks were doing. As I was telling her about my genius wager of course, Seattle not only intercepted Stafford's pass but instead of falling to the ground to insure a Seattle victory...... He runs it all the way back and Seattle wins by 12. My
Sister in Law is 69 years old and I think She learned a few more words today. ^<<^

I remember you also my friend. I have never before posted about a bad beat but I just had to vent on this one. I am not a person to make 4 team parlay wagers but I just felt this one coming. Luckily I also wagered the games individually but it still hurts because the pay was even more than the 10/1 as I had a few small underdog ml in my parlay also. I look forward to seeing you again at next years Bash hopefully ! :drink: :103631605

Yea that interception TD wiped out my teaser as I had Under 49 to win.
Saw the clock with 30 seconds left and when I checked back, bingo 7 more pts.
Shit happens, but sucks when it wipes out a cash out.

I never said it was the worst beat ever. It's probably not even close. However I said it was probably my worst beat ever and the main reason I feel that way is because I almost never even make 4 team parlay wagers which are really a long term losing proposition.

The main reason it was " my " worst beat ever is because I almost never do parlays. I guess there are posters that have lost a 10 teamer or something like that which would of course be far worse imho. TO EACH HIS OWN ! :103631605

Long term, they are a losing (or winning) proposition only if the same is also true on single game side or total bets. Difference is the swings are so much greater as you saw today

Tough way to lose

Spend a few minutes with a calculator and notepad and see if you think round robin every two ways is a good way to find the middle on those longshot parlays

That Steelers bullshit from last season with Chargers game...yeah the 11-10 final was the worse ever. TD that should've counted didn't and refs admitted error, but score remained.
