I received an out of office email from a client and he stated "I will be out of the office this week and will have limited access to emails..yada yada". In this day and age most businessmen/women have Crackberrys or other PDA's. The days of not checking your email are long gone. Unless you leave your cell phone at home or are out of the country (without "world" access) you will always see email. So don't give me that BS anymore answer my email!!! @)

Out of office e-mails are there so you know you will not be getting an answer anytime during the stated away time on the away response. Its another way of saying don't expect an answer and stop trying to contact me until I contact you.

You know I am just kidding...The reply should be. "I am on freakin vacation and am banned from looking at my Crackberry or checking work email during this period. Unless you want to pay my alamony you will just have to wait" this sounds better?
