One of mine is the misuse of the words ability & oportunity. i.e. on the M&M show just now, Golic said "The Steelers would have the ability to take over the Div. w/a W"! They already HAVE the ability, they're going to have the opportunity! You hear this one a lot, and Golic frequently.:think2:

They say stuff like "Bob and Tom were at a teammates house when a fight broke out and Bob was shot. Tom's BAC was .22, nearly 3 times the legal limit in the State of Florida".
There isn't a legal limit for sitting around someone's house and watching TV, but they always make it sound like someone was doing something illegal (and deserved whatever trouble they got into) when they weren't. There is a legal limit for driving a car.

I hate when announcers miss call a play and then continue to talk like the guy didnt drop the catch or actually did make the catch.
ie. Tom brady rolls out to his right and hits randy moss for a 20 yard catch (eventhough refs clearly waiving it incomplete). The announcers still continue to talk about the catch until they finally realize they are brining the ball back
