WASHINGTON —(AP)

President Barack Obama on Saturday urged Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage until federal law enforcement and military authorities have completed their probes into the shootings at the Texas Army post, which left 13 people dead.

On an eight-day Asia trip, Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater." He said those who died on the nation's largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft.

Political stagecraft? Maybe he should have heeded his own advice when he rushed to condemn the Cambridge, Mass., police for acting "stupidly" when they merely arrested his buddy Gates. I mean it’s not like they shot and killed him in the name Allah.

Dude, he admitted the next that that he shouldn't have said what he said about that, but it was hardly a national tragedy. Do you disagree about his statements on this?

He had a gut reaction to Gates, opened his mouth before he thought about it. POTUS aren’t supposed to do that, their supposed to be calculated in what they say. So the next day he admits he was wrong, BFD.

As for the Fort Hood killings, he was on the campaign trail, as usual and his first priority was to get the crowd going with shout outs of praise to his friends. The national tragedy was secondary on his list of importance to address. WTF is up with that?
