Any of you guys seen this anywhere?

Already this young NBA season I've lost 3Unders on totals which would have easily won if not for OT, with 1 of them going still winning until Double OT.

It's to be expected I know, but the season just started and these 3 already is the difference in me being up 20+ units or even as I am right now......

So why hasn't a book stepped up to offer this as something unique?

How could it hurt them either way since bettors will be losing wagers that they could have won if OT was an option, just like they lose when OT is an option.

Unless, of course, Unders are indeed the wiser wagers vs overs & the books know that having OT included gives the house just a slight advantage.....

they should offer OT protection, for an extra cent or two. would people lay -112 and not have to worry about OT? :think2:

Because if they did they would have too lower their totals for every game and even though there would be a logical way to figure this out so it would still be the same, I don't see a book stepping up to something unique.

If the demand is there, why wouldn't one?

My guess, then, is simply lack of demand

Only other possibility is that irrational fear of the unorthodox exceeds how much they welcome profit
