Why Don't They make a Baseball League That is Left Handed Biased?

Baseball is right handed biased. No lefties can play the infield. I could have been a really good short stop if there were a left haned biased league. In other words, where third base is now, it would be first base in my league. You just run the bases the other way. Then second base now would be like short stop and I would be famous and everybody would love me and think I'm great instead of stinking me out in left field all the time.

I played third base as a lefty as long as it was acceptable.

I like your idea.

Bradbury had an article asking why there were no lefthanded catchers. His conclusion was that anytime you had a lefty with an arm strong enough to catch, they would have been made into a pitcher

Overall baseball absolutely favors lefthanders, big time, something like 26% of all pitchers and 16% of all position players. It is one of the few sports where handedness makes a difference. It is common for athletes to teach themselves to bat the opposite way, it is extremely rare for them to teach themselves to throw the opposite way

Further, if you really can handle the glove well enough to play shortstop, go play first base like JT Snow or Mark Grace

Lefty hitters are closer to first base. Unfair to the righties.

Easy answer. According ot Wikipedia, "Left-handedness is relatively uncommon; 90 to 93 percent of the adult population is right-handed."

You and your 6 to 9 friends out of 100 would have a hard time finding a team to play against.

Left-handedness is weird.

How about left handed jai alai players ?

You have to learn to play righty, at any level.

while we're at it, why don't we place the baskets in basketball at 5ft, so it becomes a short guys' game
