Nothing to take out. Teams do their best every week. He cant "take it out" first off because despite what the square majority thinks, there is nothing to take out, he played it right. Second off, the Jets want to win too and will do everyting they can to win.

Sharpen up gamblers, no one will do it for you.

As for that call, Bellicheck gave his team a 10-15 percent better chance of winning with it. If you dont get that my suggestion is find a new hobby, gambling isnt for you. An honest thought, there are better ways to spend time than losing gambling.

I'll start looking for a new hobby. Now I know where Weis gets his arrogance from - Belichick.

If you don't know the difference between a 4th and 2 from your own 28 and the game hanging in the balance from a 4th and 2 from midfield when it is a blowout, then you should find another hobby...your math doesn't take in all the variables from all 4th down situations...

Bellicheat played it horribly wrong and your homerism is blinding you...I mentioned it might be a blowout, not because of what happened last week, it was because of what happened in their first meeting when a rookie QB outplayed Brady and the bunch...

Bellicheat had no confidense in his defense and showed them no respect by going for it...their defense played well against Manning for 3 quarters...I would have taken a chance that you can't go 70 yards in 2 minutes with one time out....you PUNT the ball...

In 2006, Belichick punted the ball with 2:00 left in the game. The Pats lost.

This year, his defense was getting exposed, he had lost his best pass rusher to injury, and Manning had two long TD drives in under 2:00 minutes.

2007 Super Bowl was somewhat similar too in that the defense couldn't make a stop.

Give it up Viejo. Belichick knows more about the state of his team than you do.

I'm sure he does, but I have a lot of people agreeing with me...including Rodney Harrison and Ted Buschi, two guys who know more about the state of the team than you do...If he makes it, he is the coach of the year...he didn't, so he isn't as smart as some people think he is...

actually, they did make it, just got a bad spot

one loss doesn't change

108-45 w/Pats
14-3 playoffs
3-1 Superbowls
2-0 Superbowls as defensive coordinator
and a few coach of the year honors

how many people own 5 rings?

obviously, he's a lot smarter than some people think

They know NOTHING about the state of this year's team and they know NOTHING about the state of that day's team ... but that is ok ... you can take their word for insight and expert analysis if you think they know more than Belichick.

Your argument is: You have to punt. I have no problem with your thought process ... I see why you would think that

It's just that if you're going to call out someone with a differing opinion, come with some bullets. Just saying that you KNOW doesn't mean shit to most people.

This is similar to people trashing the books for hanging an opening line of -2, having the line go up to -3.5 at kickoff and having the game land on a 3.

At that point, everyone in the world can criticize the book .. but until you're in those shoes and you need an opening line, you can't really understand anything. Same thing applies here.

And you still have some idiots laying the 3 and the 3.5......bad decision

Bad time to be playing Patriots

There's never really a good time for the New York Jets to face the Patriots. Since Bill Belichick became New England's coach in 2000, the Jets are 7-13 against their rivals from Foxborough.
Many of the games have been contentious - remember Spygate and the Eric Mangini-Belichick non-handshakes - and Belichick and current Jets coach Rex Ryan aren't exactly buddies. It won't help Bill B's mood, either, that New York won 16-9 in Week 2.
Not that Belichick's dour demeanor has been anything close to cheery since last Sunday's late-game gamble backfired in Indianapolis, and the Patriots fell 35-34 to Peyton Manning and the Colts.
So laying it on the Jets (4-5) even harder than usual might be on the mind of Belichick and the Patriots (6-3), if not to just about salt away the AFC East then to ease the memories from Indy.
"I'm worried about the Jets," Tom Brady said. "I think I'd talked a lot about the Colts game and I think we've all got to move forward and understand that we're playing a great opponent, one that really gave our offense a lot of problems the last time we played them and that has a lot of good players."
The Jets also have problems on both sides of the line. Their running game is strong, but rookie Mark Sanchez is going through the expected struggles of a first-year quarterback. Their aggressive defense was rolled over by Jacksonville for a winning drive last weekend.
And now they have some ticked off Patriots to contend with.
